Qantas Group Acquires Cobham Australia
In 2020, Qantas Group acquired Cobham Aviation Services Australia, a regional domestic airline, and its fleet of 20 B717-200 aircraft. Qantas Group's subsidiary, QantasLink, had been operating the B717-200s for 15 years through a wet-leasing contract with Cobham.
