Montréal–Mirabel International Airport
Initially, between 1975 and 1997, all international flights to and from Montreal, except for those to and from the United States, were required to use Mirabel. The airport is home to several private pilot schools, third-level airlines, the École nationale d'aérotechnique and the Canadian Space Agency. There are several transport options for getting to and from Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. For travellers on a budget, there is a 24/7 public bus service called the 747, which provides a direct line between the airport and downtown Montreal. The bus stops at several metro stations and hotels, and the journey time is approximately 25-35 minutes to Lionel-Groulx metro station and 45-70 minutes to Berri-UQÀM station, depending on traffic. Passengers can buy their tickets from the kiosks before boarding and can find the bus stop at the arrivals level.
For those who prefer a more luxurious mode of transport, limousines are also available. It is recommended to book these in advance, although it is not obligatory. Limousines and traditional taxis can be found at the arrivals level near the central exit, where a dispatcher will assist you.
