Miami International Airport (MIA)
Miami International Airport, also known as MIA and historically as Wilcox Field, is Florida's largest and busiest airport. It is located in an unincorporated area in Miami-Dade County, 8 miles (13 km) west-northwest of downtown Miami, in metropolitan Miami. Orlando International Airport (MCO)
The airport code MCO is derived from the airport's former name, McCoy Air Force Base, a Strategic Air Command (SAC) installation that closed in 1975 following the end of the Vietnam War. The airport gained its current name and international status in 1976 but retained its old IATA and ICAO airport codes. In 1978, the airport was designated as a large hub airport by the FAA based on flight operations and passenger traffic, and it became a U.S. Customs Service Foreign Trade Zone.

The airport has been expanded and improved over the years, with the current Landside Terminal and two Airsides opening in 1981.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

Palm Beach International Airport
Throughout its history, Palm Beach International Airport has undergone several expansions and improvements. The airport expanded beyond an airstrip and administration building in 1937 when the Palm Beach Aero Corporation constructed the first terminal and hangars. During the 1950s, the U.S. Air Force retained a presence at the base, using it for training and weather research.
