Washington Dulles International Airport
The airport is located mostly in the unincorporated community of Dulles in Loudoun County, with a small portion in the unincorporated community of Chantilly in Fairfax County. It is named after John Foster Dulles, who served as US Secretary of State under President Eisenhower. The airport's original name was Dulles International Airport, but it was changed in 1984 to include "Washington" in honour of the nation's capital.

The airport has two passenger concourses: Concourse A (gates A1-A11) and Concourse B (gates B16-B30). Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (IATA: DCA, ICAO: KDCA, FAA LID: DCA) is a public airport in Arlington County, Virginia, United States. Located just five miles (eight kilometres) from Washington, D.C., it is the closest airport to the nation's capital. Richmond International Airport
Due to increasing passenger numbers, the airport expanded further in 2018, increasing the number of gates to between 28 and 30. The expansion was completed in 2021, and the airport also expanded the checkpoint area in Concourse B, adding more TSA screening lanes.
