Olbia Airport
Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is one of the three main airports in Sardinia, Italy. It is located in Olbia and is approximately 4km from the city centre. The airport was initially a military airfield, opened in 1921, and a seaplane base was added close to the Isola Bianca harbour in 1927. The airport was targeted by Allied bombing in World War II, and the Germans opened another airfield 7.2 kilometres west of the town in 1945, which was renamed Olbia. Cagliari Airport
The airport has a single three-storey terminal building with arrivals on the ground floor and departures on the first floor. The ground floor features an ice cream shop, coffee bar, first aid station, tourist information kiosk, and more, while the first floor has 42 check-in desks, as well as food and drink options, a chapel, shops, and a VIP lounge.
