It is important to note that certain violations of federal security regulations, such as assault, threat, or interference with security operations, may result in a temporary or permanent suspension from participation in TSA PreCheck®. TSA PreCheck® renewal process

The renewal process for TSA PreCheck® is straightforward. Members can renew their membership online or in person at an enrollment centre. Online renewal can be completed in as little as 5 minutes, and members can renew up to six months before their expiration date. The new membership period begins as the current one ends, so there is no disadvantage to renewing early.

To renew online, members must pick an enrollment provider and submit their application. The enrollment provider can be chosen based on cost, locations, and additional benefits. The application process includes fingerprinting, document and photo capture, and payment. Most applicants receive approval notification within 3-5 days, but some applications can take up to 60 days. To be eligible for the program, you must be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. lawful permanent resident, or a citizen of a partner country enrolled in Global Entry, NEXUS, or SENTRI. Canadian citizens who are members of NEXUS are also eligible.

If you are a member of one of these trusted traveller programs, you can enter your membership number (also known as a Known Traveller Number or KTN) in the "Known Traveller Number" field when booking reservations or add it to your frequent flyer profile with the airline. TSA PreCheck® enrolment for children

Children aged 13 to 17 can access the TSA PreCheck® lane if they are on the same reservation as a parent or guardian who is TSA PreCheck®-eligible and they have the TSA PreCheck® logo on their boarding pass.
