To use the bag-drop service, CLEAR Plus members should first pre-register online by providing their airline, flight number, departure date, and time. Upon arrival at the designated location, members need only show a valid government-issued ID, drop off their bags, and collect a printed boarding pass if needed. This streamlined process allows travelers to bypass the lengthy check-in lines and head straight to the CLEAR Lane for security screening.

It is important to note that while CLEAR provides this convenient bag-drop option, standard airline baggage fees still apply. Additionally, travelers with specific items, such as service animals, lap infants, or hazardous materials, will need to check their bags directly with the airline. The service is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and bags must be dropped off at least 60 minutes before the scheduled departure.

DEN Reserve, powered by CLEAR, is an extension of the existing partnership between CLEAR and Denver International Airport. CLEAR has operated its expedited verification lanes at the airport since 2010, and in 2022, it launched a pilot program that allowed members to pre-book checked luggage before arriving, reducing congestion at terminal ticket counters. CLEAR also operates expedited entry lanes at Denver's Coors Field and Ball Arena during games, concerts, and events.

The DEN Reserve pilot program was launched at the beginning of June 2023 and has been well-received, with nearly 100% of reservation windows booked every day and over 4,900 bookings. This has helped alleviate congestion at the Bridge Security Checkpoint and improved the overall passenger experience.

To make a reservation with DEN Reserve, travellers must enter their flight details and the number of people in their party to view available time slots. Upon arrival at the airport, they need to head to the Bridge TSA Security Checkpoint on Level 6 in the main terminal, where they can access the dedicated lane for DEN RESERVE passengers after scanning a confirmation QR code.

It is important to note that DEN Reserve is separate from CLEAR's opt-in airport membership, which is available to DEN passengers travelling from the North and South security checkpoints.
