The TSA PreCheck® program offers expedited security screening at over 200 participating US airports for travellers on more than 81 participating airlines. TSA PreCheck® members do not need to remove shoes, belts, liquids, laptops, or light jackets during screening.
To apply for TSA PreCheck®, applicants must complete an online pre-enrolment and then attend an in-person appointment at one of the over 400 TSA PreCheck® application centres in the US. Applicants can pre-enrol online in 5 minutes and make an appointment for the in-person process, or walk into an enrolment centre without an appointment. The in-person appointment takes 10 minutes, during which the enrolment provider will collect biometric data (fingerprints and photos), verify identity documents, and collect payment.

Generally, children do not need to apply for TSA PreCheck® unless they routinely travel alone.
