Terminal C has 23 gates numbered 60, 60A, 61, 62 to 69, 70 to 79, 81 to 89B, and 92 to 98.

Terminal A is also known as the Marine Air Terminal

Terminal A at LaGuardia Airport, also known as the Marine Air Terminal, was initially built to manage seaplane operations. The terminal is located on the west side of the airport and is currently occupied by Frontier and Spirit Airlines. The departure concourse has six gates, numbered A1 to A6, with arrivals located on the same level.

The Marine Air Terminal was the airport's original terminal for overseas flights. The terminal was designed to serve the fleet of flying boats, or Clippers, of Pan American Airways, America's main international airline during the 1930s and 1940s. When a Clipper landed in Long Island Sound, it would taxi to a dock where passengers could disembark into the terminal.

During World War II, new four-engine land planes were developed, and flying boats stopped carrying scheduled passengers out of New York after 1947. The last Pan American flight left the terminal in February 1952, bound for Bermuda.

In 1986, Pan Am restarted flights at the MAT with the purchase of New York Air's shuttle service between Boston, New York City, and Washington, D.C. In 1991, Delta Air Lines bought the Pan Am Shuttle and subsequently started service from the MAT on September 1. In 1995, the MAT was designated a historic landmark.

In 2017, JetBlue and Alaska Airlines relocated to the Marine Air Terminal, while Delta consolidated all Delta Shuttle flights to Terminal C. In 2018, Alaska Airlines ended all service from LaGuardia Airport, leaving JetBlue as the terminal's only tenant. In 2021, Spirit Airlines started operating Fort Lauderdale-bound flights from Terminal A, and in 2022, Frontier Airlines moved all of its flights to Terminal A as well.

In 2024, Frontier Airlines moved all flights to Terminal B, leaving Spirit Airlines as the sole operator in Terminal A.

Terminal B, also known as the Central Terminal Building, is located in the central area of LaGuardia Airport. It has four levels, including a new concessions level with shops and restaurants.

The baggage claim carousels can be found on level 2, along with a welcome centre and shop. Passengers can be picked up at the arrivals curb, and a taxi rank is located on this level for on-demand taxi services. Passengers can access the walkway to the Terminal B parking garage from the west end of the terminal.

Level 3 is where airline ticketing and check-in desks are located, and the security checkpoint is just beyond the ticketing desks, providing access to the departure concourses.

An escalator on level 4 takes passengers to the concessions level, where there are quick- and full-service dining options and shopping. Other amenities include a meditation room, a nursing room, and a pet relief area. Passengers can access the eastern and western concourses by walking across the concourse bridges from this level.
