Capital City Airport, Pennsylvania
Capital City Airport (IATA: HAR, ICAO: KCXY, FAA LID: CXY) is a public airport in Fairview Township, York County, Pennsylvania. It is located just three miles (5 km) southeast of Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania, and serves Dauphin, Cumberland, and York counties. The airport covers 320 acres (130 ha) and has two asphalt runways.
The airport was originally called Capital Landing Field when it opened in 1930 and was Harrisburg's first airline airport. In 1934, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania purchased it and renamed it Harrisburg-York State Airport. It was a stop on longer air routes, particularly between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, and was served by Transcontinental and Western Airlines, which later became TWA and remained until 1968.
The airport has been owned and operated by the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority (SARAA) since 1999. It is the designated reliever and sister airport of Harrisburg International Airport. Capital City Airport is the home airport for the Pennsylvania Bureau of Aviation and the Pennsylvania State Police, and it averages more than 57,000 corporate, charter, and private aircraft operations annually.
The airport has a rich history, with the Army Air Corps stationing the 101st and 103d Observation Squadrons at Harrisburg during World War II to train pilots in observation and aerial photography. Later, the Army Air Force formed the 6th Fighter Wing and 47th Bombardment Wing at the airport before their deployment overseas. The nearby New Cumberland Army depot has gone through several name changes and is now known as the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Susquehanna, a major military distribution centre for supplies and equipment.

Harrisburg International Airport
The airport covers 680 acres (280 ha) of land and sits at an elevation of 310 feet (94 m) above mean sea level. It features a single asphalt runway, 13/31, measuring 10,001 by 200 feet (3,048 by 61 m). Lansing's airport history
The first airfield in Lansing opened in 1919, approximately 1 mile west of downtown. A second airfield opened the following year, 2.5 miles south of downtown. From 1922 to 1926, Lansing's airport was Creyts Field, located 1 mile west of the current airport site.
