Air Canada has unveiled its latest lounge concept, the Aspire | Air Canada Café at Billy Bishop Toronto City Centre Airport (YTZ). The Aspire lounge is the airline's 27th lounge and the fifth currently operating Canadian Aspire lounge. It is the result of a collaboration between Air Canada and Aspire, Swissport's premium lounge brand. The lounge opened on June 1, 2023, and is the only airline lounge at Billy Bishop Airport.
The Aspire | Air Canada Café is a unique hybrid between the Air Canada Café and Aspire's lounge concepts. It offers 367 square metres of space and seating for 133 guests in the domestic departures terminal at Billy Bishop Airport. The lounge is open daily from 06:30 to 20:00, and access is permitted three hours prior to the scheduled flight departure. Children under two years are admitted free, and complimentary luggage storage is available inside the lounge.
The lounge features a variety of seating setups for different purposes. Upon entering, turning right leads to the Work Space, which includes a large meeting room. The food options include a mix of hit-and-miss hot food, light bites, and Maple Leaf Lounge classics.
