The two terminals are connected by two people movers, with the Taoyuan Airport MRT linking the terminals underground.
Terminal 1, which opened in 1979, is the original passenger terminal. It has five floors of note to passengers and features 22 gates. The south side of Terminal 2's Concourse C is for Eva Airlines, connecting to Terminal 1's Concourse B, which is used by Cathay Pacific.
