Melbourne Airport, also known as Tullamarine Airport, is the main international airport serving Melbourne, Australia. Located 18 kilometres (11 miles) northwest of the city centre, the airport is adjacent to the suburb of Tullamarine, which is how it got its local name. Avalon Airport
The airport has been offering commercial flights since 2004 when Jetstar began operating from the airport. In 2018, AirAsia X moved their Melbourne Airport operations to Avalon Airport, offering twice-daily direct flights to Kuala Lumpur. Avalon Airport has also added international flights to Denpasar (Bali), Indonesia, to its schedule.

Moorabbin Airport
The airport has five intersecting runways, with the longest being Runway 17L/35R, spanning 1,335 metres (4,380 ft). Typically, two parallel runways are in use at the same time.
