Brisbane Airport
The airport services 31 airlines flying to 50 domestic and 29 international destinations, with more than 22.7 million passengers travelling through the airport in 2016. Brisbane Airport is the largest in land area in Australia, covering 2,700 hectares (6,700 acres). It has international and domestic passenger terminals, a cargo terminal, a general aviation terminal, and apron, as well as two runways. The domestic terminal is a two-storey curved building with three complete satellite arms, providing additional passenger lounge and gate facilities for airlines. Some of the infrastructure at Eagle Farm Airport was incorporated into today's Brisbane Airport. For example, the north-east end of the main runway (04/22) is now used as taxiway Papa. The final flight from Eagle Farm Airport departed on 20 March 1988, with the new Brisbane Airport opening on 19 March 1988, hosted by Prime Minister Bob Hawke.

Gold Coast Airport
The airport has been in operation for several decades and has undergone various management changes. Since 1998, it has been privately leased to Queensland Airports (QAL). The company managing the airport was renamed Gold Coast Airport Pty Ltd (GCAPL) in 1999.
Several airlines offer services to and from the Gold Coast Airport, providing connections to other parts of Australia. Sunshine Coast Airport

It is the first privately funded major airport in Australia and the first major greenfield public airport development since Melbourne Airport opened in 1970.
The Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport is the brainchild of the Wagner family, a prominent business family in the region. The family submitted plans for a large-scale airport and industrial development to the Toowoomba Regional Council in 2012. The airport is rated at Code E and has a 2,870-metre-long runway that can accommodate large aircraft such as the Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 747-8.

Ballina Byron Gateway Airport
An occasional bus service operates to and from the airport, except on Christmas Day. The airport was originally named Ballina Airport, but in 2005, it was renamed Ballina Byron Gateway Airport to attract more people to the area.
The airport is Australia's only storage site for the Cirrus Vision SF50 (rego N755DS) aircraft. Ballina Byron Gateway Airport is also the official airline partner for the 2025 Byron Bay Bluesfest.
