United Club members can access the lounge with a same-day boarding card for a flight operated by United, Star Alliance, or a contracted partner airline. Lower-priced United Airlines cards, such as the Explorer Card and the Business Card, offer two United Club one-time passes per year when the primary cardmember is travelling.

It is important to note that United has recently made changes to its lounge access policies, increasing fees for lounge memberships and credit cards. Existing customers will be required to pay the higher rates at their next renewal date.
