Tsa Precheck: Is It Available At Greensboro Airport?

The Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina, offers TSA PreCheck® to eligible travellers. TSA PreCheck® screening process

After completing the in-person enrolment, most applicants receive their Known Traveller Number (KTN) within three to five days. To access TSA PreCheck® screening, you must add your KTN to your airline reservations.

It is important to note that TSA uses unpredictable security measures, and no individual is guaranteed expedited screening. TSA PreCheck® members may still be subject to random pat-downs or additional screening.

TSA PreCheck® membership cost

The TSA PreCheck® membership cost varies by provider, with prices ranging from $58.75 to $85 for a five-year membership. IDEMIA, for example, offers TSA PreCheck enrollment for $78, while the cost of a TSA PreCheck® membership at Piedmont Triad International Airport is $85.

Telos offers a renewal fee of $70 online and $70 in person. CLEAR charges $68.95 for online renewals and $77.95 for in-person renewals. IDEMIA offers the cheapest renewal fees at $58.75 online and $66.75 in person.

It is important to note that the TSA does not offer any assistance with application fee costs, but several credit cards and loyalty programs do.

TSA PreCheck® eligibility

The TSA PreCheck® program is only open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents. Applicants may be ineligible due to incomplete or false application information, certain violations of federal security regulations, or disqualifying criminal offenses and factors.

U.S. citizens of frequent traveller programs invited by participating airlines are eligible for TSA PreCheck®. Eligible travellers include:

• Members of Global Entry

• Members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those serving in the National Guard and reserves, as well as government employees from select agencies
• Cadets and midshipmen of the U.S. Military Academy, Naval Academy, Coast Guard Academy, Air Force Academy, and Merchant Marine Academy
• Passengers 12 and younger travelling with an eligible passenger
• Passengers selected using existing Secure Flight system requirements while travelling on participating airlines
