This development also strengthens the ties of brotherhood between Cancun and the US.

Peralta also highlighted that remote interviews for Global Entry take approximately 15 minutes, and applicants must be US nationals or legal permanent residents, as well as citizens of select countries, including Mexico, Argentina, India, Colombia, Panama, Singapore, the Netherlands, the UK, Switzerland, Germany, and South Korea. They must also have a valid passport.

The Global Entry program offers significant benefits to travellers, including expedited entry and reduced wait times at select airports. It is particularly valuable for frequent international travellers, enabling them to utilise automatic kiosks for a faster customs process.
