Smoking areas in CDG Terminal 1

The Star Alliance Lounge in the Schengen area of Terminal 1 has a smoking area in the garden. The Lounges of Icare/Star Alliance (level 10) and the Qatar Lounge (Level 11) also have their own separate open-air smoking facilities. While there is no official smoking guide on the airport website, terminal maps do indicate where smoking areas are present. These are usually marked with orange smoking signs.
CDG Terminal 2 has several smoking rooms. In Terminal 2B, there is a smoking area after passport control in the far corner away from the passport booth, opposite gate B20. CDG Terminal 2E smoking areas
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is a smoke-free airport by law. However, the airport does provide designated smoking areas located airside, after security.
Terminal 2E has a medium-sized smoking area right beside gate L31. This area has seats and greenery, as per an update from August 2023. There is also a larger indoor smoking area with seating at gate L30. Additionally, on the other side of the duty-free shops, there are three very small, narrow glass closets that can accommodate around 8-10 people.
There is another smoking area in 2E adjacent to L29, and a very small smoking area by L45.
Other Smoking Areas in CDG
Apart from Terminal 2E, there are other smoking areas in different terminals and gates of CDG airport. These include:
- Terminal 2F: A smoking area is located downstairs by the F31-F36 gates, towards transfers, and next to the toilets.
- Terminal 2G: A smoking area is located in the main waiting/store area, at the far end away from the gate area.
- Terminal 3: A large smoking lounge with 20+ seats is located at the entrance of Terminal 3E, near gate M. There are also smaller smoking areas at T gates 31 and 35.

CDG Terminal 3 Gate 11 Smoking Area
This smoking area can also be accessed through the Pret A Manger Cafe after security. After passing through security, head towards gates 9-15. It is a huge area compared to many other airports and is open.
Other CDG Smoking Areas
In addition to the Terminal 3 Gate 11 smoking area, CDG has numerous other smoking areas, including:
- Terminal 2B-2D - Direct behind La Table de Michel Roth, next to gate 50D. This smoking room is internal.
