Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers is undergoing a significant expansion to accommodate future growth and enhance airport operations. The billion-dollar project, approved by Lee County Commissioners, involves the addition of a new terminal named Concourse E, which will increase the airport's capacity by 14 gates. This phase includes the construction of bright and open spaces with natural light and soaring ceilings, a business lounge, and new concessions with more technology and a mix of local and national brands.
