Exemptions from RT-PCR testing
Mumbai Airport has an RT-PCR testing facility available at Terminal 2 (Departure and Arrival Areas) and Terminal 1 (Kerbside). The test costs Rs. 500 and results take up to 8-10 hours. A rapid RT-PCR test is also available for Rs. 1975, with results in 1-2 hours.

- Business travellers staying for less than 48 hours are exempt from quarantine. If their stay extends between 48 hours and 7 days, they must undergo a COVID test on arrival, and with a negative result, they can proceed with their engagements.
- Travellers who produce a negative RT-PCR test report conducted within 96 hours before boarding can be exempt from institutional quarantine.
- Travellers can also opt for an RT-PCR test on arrival to be exempt from institutional quarantine.
- All international passengers have to undergo thermal screening.
- International passengers will have to sign a declaration agreeing to 7 days of institutional quarantine at their own cost and another 7 days of home quarantine.
