The Japan Rail Pass is a great way to save money when travelling around Japan. The pass is available for 7, 14, or 21 days and can be purchased by foreign tourists visiting Japan as Temporary Visitors. After buying the pass, travellers receive an Exchange Order that must be swapped for the actual Japan Rail Pass within three months of the issue date. This can be done at major JR Railway Stations or certain airports, including Haneda Airport in Tokyo.

Location of the JR East Travel Service Centre
The JR East Travel Service Centre is located in the International Terminal at Haneda Airport, on the Arrivals level (2F). The office is open from 6:45 am to 6:30 pm. After leaving the baggage claim and customs area, follow the signs for the Monorail, and you will find the office in the far left-hand corner of the terminal straight ahead of you, just past the Tokyo Monorail ticket machines.

How to get to the exchange offices from the airport arrival halls
Haneda Airport has three terminals. Terminals 1 and 2 are connected by an underground walkway, and a free shuttle bus connects all three terminals.
