Car parking options
Manchester Airport offers a range of parking options to suit different needs and budgets. Here is an overview of the various car parking choices available:
Multi-Storey Parking
Multi-storey parking is available at all three terminals of Manchester Airport. This option allows you to park your car and keep your keys, offering convenience and easy access to the terminals. The multi-storey car parks are ideal for short stays, and you can book in advance to secure the best prices.
Mid-Stay Parking
Mid-stay parking is a perfect choice for shorter breaks and business trips. It is located just a few minutes' walk from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, providing quick access to the check-in area. By booking in advance, you can often find great deals and save money on your parking.
Long-Stay Parking
Long-stay parking is suitable for trips of a week or more. Manchester Airport offers seven official long-stay car parks, including Meet & Greet and JetParks options. Meet & Greet car parks are the most popular as they are closest to the check-in areas. JetParks, on the other hand, offer a cheaper alternative with a 5-10 minute shuttle bus journey to the terminals.
Short-Stay Parking
Short-stay parking is ideal for stays ranging from 30 minutes to several weeks. It includes the Multi-Storey car parks at each terminal and the Mid-Stay car park for Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. While short-stay parking is designed for brief visits, booking in advance can get you better rates if you plan to stay longer.
Meet & Greet Parking
Meet & Greet parking is a convenient option where a designated driver meets you at the terminal and takes your car to a secured parking compound. This service is especially useful if you're travelling with children or have heavy luggage. Meet & Greet is available at all three terminals, offering a stress-free start to your journey.
JetParks Parking
JetParks is a popular Park and Ride service with three different car parks serving all three terminals. It offers great value for money and is just a short shuttle bus ride away from the terminals. JetParks is an excellent choice for those travelling on a budget and looking for convenient parking.
Drop & Go Parking
Drop & Go is a straightforward and affordable parking option, ideal for trips of 1-2 weeks. It is a short walk from Terminal 3 and just a few minutes away from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 via a shuttle bus. Drop & Go provides a great alternative to JetParks, offering convenience and competitive pricing.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Parking
Manchester Airport also caters to electric vehicles, offering EV parking at Terminal 1. EV owners must bring their own charging cables, and the airport provides charging points at designated locations.
Remember that booking your parking space in advance can save you money and guarantee your spot. Manchester Airport offers a user-friendly booking system to help you find the best option for your trip and budget.

Terminal information
Manchester Airport has three terminals. The most popular short-haul and domestic airlines leave from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, while Terminal 2 generally hosts international flights. Terminal 1 is the largest terminal, so you will find the main visitor facilities such as Tourist Information and a hotel booking service here. The Arrivals hall is on the lower level, with lift and escalator access to the Skylink walkway and the Station transport interchange for onward travel. Terminal 2 Arrivals are also on the lower level, and there is an information desk next to the baggage reclaim area. However, there is no dedicated meeting point, so you may prefer to meet people at Terminal 1. Terminal 3 is next to Terminal 1 and mainly serves UK and Ireland flights. You'll find Arrivals on the first floor, where there is also an information point and meeting point. The main information desk for the whole airport is a 5-minute walk away, in Terminal 1.
To drop off passengers for free outside the terminal buildings (no waiting), follow the signs from the junction. The drop-off point is located to the left in the car park, past the Hilton Hotel and Clayton Hotel. To pick someone up, parking in the airport's multi-storey car parks costs £3.50 for 30 minutes and each terminal has its own car park, meaning it's a short two-minute walk to the terminal building. All terminal parking is signposted from the M56, Junction 5.
